Abhilash Patel is an entrepreneur, investor and digital marketer who helps companies to grow and thrive.

In 2007, Abhilash founded Ranklab, a digital marketing agency in Santa Monica, CA. In 2011, Abhilash and his partner Jeff Smith co-founded Recovery Brands, one of the largest publishers of online resources for consumers seeking addiction treatment and treatment providers to showcase their services. Both companies were successfully acquired in 2015 for $60M in cash and stock from American Addiction Centers (NYSE:AAC).

Abhilash received his BA in Economics/Philosophy from Columbia University (2002), and his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management FEMBA program (2012). While at Anderson, Abhilash was an MDE fellow at the Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. He was a guest speaker for numerous classes while and since attending business school.

In addition to his current executive role at AAC, Abhilash is an active venture investor, advisor to a VC fund in Santa Monica and multiple growing startups. He is a budding triathlete, loves to golf and above all spend time with family, his wife Kelly and 2 young boys Bodhi (4) & Archer (2).
